In June 2012 the co-operative regional sustainable energy company ValleiEnergy will be founded. In contrast to concentrated fossil fuels, sustainable energy is a dilluted and distributed form of energy that needs to harvested on a local level. Local and regional energy companies are better equipped to shape the transition to a decentral sustainable energy supply than large international energy utilities. Frank Zegers said, one of the founders of ValleiEnergie.
