4 April 2013 – Market consultation solar lease Tiel.

Assigned by the municipality of Tiel E4S consult executed a market consultation into the supply of third party solar lease (ESCO) services that include design-build-finance-maintain-operate (DBFMO) activities for photovoltaïc (PV) solar systems for 7 buildings in Tiel. Within these financial arrangements the solar electricity produced is sold for a fixed kWh-price. Using net-present-value cashflow calculations these market propositions are compared with own investments in solar energy. Solar leasing at kWh lease rates comparable with low commercial electricity tariffs is possible currently.
